An exciting opportunity has come up for a Legal Secretary to join our well-respected legal client on a permanent basis. This position will be based full time, Monday to Friday, in the York office.

Key duties to include: 

  • Completing diary management tasks. 
  • Liaising with key clients via email, telephone or in person. 
  • Utilising LEAP software and the land registry portal. 
  • Undertaking filing tasks and sorting through internal database. 
  • Providing general administrative support to fee earners. 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Previous legal secretary/administrative experience is vital. 
  • Experience working in a conveyancing department preferable but not essential.
  • Accurate and fast typing speed.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar.  
  • Able to undertake audio-dictation.
  • Strong communication skills when dealing with clients.
